Ryan Dayvault and Chris Hughes, both direct descendants of Paul Monroe Dayvault—one of the pioneers who helped shape Kannapolis from rugged farmland into a thriving mill town—carry the heart and soul of this community in their veins.

With most of their family having grown up here and worked in the mills, they have a deep connection to the town’s history and its people. They relate to the everyday citizens of Kannapolis and understand the shared experiences that bind us together. Their love for Kannapolis shines through in everything they do, and they’re eager to share those stories with you.
